I haven't drawn Luna before this picture, so that was interesting :iconprincesslunaplz:

:la:I CANNOT wait until the fan-animation is made (the one that inspired this picture > [link] )

This is MY interpretation of the story the two animators are trying to tell. They have Luna sending off children throughout Equestria to start their new lives, I have her sending them off to the heavens to shine forever for everypony below. I mean, c'mon. Celestia couldn't make the night sky as beautifully as Luna, and this is why I think that is... then again, it's just my theory :shrug:

Yeah, I'm waiting for it too. That first bit was amazing, but the teaser they released sometime after is so darn incredible to see. Just makes you want to see the final product!
